Designed by Taouk Architects with interiors by Arkee, 494 High Street is a boutique building of five residences and a ground-floor retail space, shaped by the heritage and light-commercial character of Northcote's most vibrant street. Natural materials, private balconies and abundant natural light define each home, while sustainability is built into the fabric of the building through raw concrete construction, solar PV and solar hot water, rainwater collection, energy-efficient appliances and recycled Australian glass benchtops, creating residences that are as responsible as they are refined.
